Still adjusting to being a single mom

Here recently I became a single mom after 18 years of marriage. But now that the kids are all teenagers its a little better with them since they know what is going and can understand things.

I have two of my children with me and the other two are with their dad. Its been a bit of a change with them being 4 hours away but I think that we are all adjusting well to the way that things are now.

We all have our issues but we are dealing with things and moving on. At least we are being civil for the kids sake and are still friends. The one thing that I never wanted is for it to be a nasty custody battle or anything like that. Thankful that it hasn't come to that.
