I just heard about this one that also happened today, about 10 minutes before the high school shooting that was in Washington State. There was 2 deputies that were killed in a shooting rampage and hopefully tonight they have that jerk that did that horrible thing in jail where he belongs! Thoughts and prayers go out to all the policemen and women that were involved in that shooting and also the families that the 2 deputies left behind. So heartbreaking! One of the deputies I believe had a wife and 2 daughters and the other one a wife and 4 children. Thoughts and prayers to all! You can read about it here also on CNN. I was on my lunch earlier in the day and had first heard about this situation! So heartbreaking and tragic!! My heart breaks for all those involved, especially the students that were there and witnessed it all and the loss of a female student and 4 more in the hospital. I have been to different Aquariums and one that has stood out to me has been the Denver Aquarium . The Denver Aquarium is more that just an under water adventure. The Aquarium has it all. I love how interactive it is for children! The Mermaids are another exciting feature. You can check out the Under the Sea show times Here . We missed the Mermaids on this trip but will be making sure our next visit will include them. If you have young children, they are a must see! I got a chance to see the Mermaids two years ago and loved it. Seeing a Mermaid is a unique experience that all kids will love. I recently had the opportunity to visit a Gordmans location. I had seen several commercials in the past and Gordmans had been in the back of my mind as a place I wanted to check out. I am huge on great bargains. I love cute clothing as long as it is economical. I had originally thought of Gordmans as a clothing store and walked in to see what I could find for my kids. Gordmans was more than just clothes! The clothes I noticed were top brands. The prices on many of the items were surprisingly low. I do not want to disparage other companies so I will just put in that this is a store you will want to visit to compare before shopping for similar items. I wish I had taken some time to visit Gordmans during back to school season because I can see where we would have saved more money with the older kids.
