This is going to be the first time that one of my kids will be doing the online schooling. I think that it will be a great learning experience for both my son and myself. The way that we are doing it, I understand that I will be a learning coach that will be helping him through out each day. This is going to be challenging in a few ways but, I know that it will be a good challenge for all of us. At least I am a work at home mom so even if I am here working, during my slow times I can make sure that he's doing good and help him when needed. Otherwise it would be a bigger deal if I was at an "office" working and not able to get up and check on him through out the day etc. We are expecting two boxes of combined over 50 lbs of school supplies!! That is the bar that me and Lori went in upstairs to get our free drink..we each chose the strawberry margarita..the first for me, I'm use to strawberry daiquiri's. We got the free drink thanks to our points on MyVegas Slots that we played on facebook!! And man I have to say that sucker was STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL..I swear every time I took a drink I made a face afterwards!!! LOL..I enjoyed it but dang that thing was stronger then I ever expected!! I was SO excited to eat dessert there!! I knew it would be awesome but it was pure HEAVEN! That is Lori's Triple Chocolate truffle..I had a bite and OMG absolutely DELICIOUS!! and I had the Strawberry truffle... And Chef Ramsey's pic in the Pub :) I would definitely say if you are a fan of Chef Ramsey's to go check out his pub in Caesar's and if nothing else, just eat a dessert like we did..it was awesome!!!! I am wanting to go back there for sure the next time we head to Vegas!! Tweet

So our first FULL day there, me and my best friend Lori caught the bus from downtown and went to the strip. We stopped at the Luxor first for our free lunch and then our free lunch :) Gotta say that the game MyVegas on facebook really really pays off!! That is how we each had a free lunch and then a free Strawberry Margarita afterwards! We each turned in our "myVegas points" and got our lunch and drink free. Then we hopped back on the bus and headed down to Planet Hollywood since neither of us had ever been there before...It was okay..didn't win anything there but it was a cool..I saw this sign in the middle of the casino...not sure why it was there or what it was for..but I thought it was interesting so I took a pic of it. Hmm, well the pic I was talking about, its on my instagram as well..hmm I really have to figure out how to save them...I right click on it and it says save as but it doesn't come up as jpeg as a choice...only web page and html or some...

When we were in Vegas last week, we stayed downtown at the Golden Nugget. For the most part it was a good trip. This was my third trip to Vegas. We got the 2 free coupon books that had a few coupons in them that we used, like the free drink and the buy one get one buffet. Those came in handy. Also enjoyed the match play and a few others that came in handy while staying there. Our room was very nice. It took a couple of nights to figure out the remote to the tv!! LOL I let her dad handle the remote! There was a good view out of our window to where we could see some nice mountains in the background and I like the views like that, so that was nice. Here are some pics of our room This hotel also had the cool pool with the shark tank in it. They had a water slide going through the shark tank which was pretty cool and it was super fun to watch people go down it...I didn't go down it, too chicken!! LOL!
