UBC - Day 5 - Pets
Ever since I can remember I've had the companion as a pet to love. I've always loved both cats and dogs. As I've grown up and started my own family we continued the tradition of having pets as a part of our family and I've always made sure that the kids understood that they are family. And each of my kids have that in-steeled in them that pets are family.
We've had a lot of pets in our lives and we've lost quite a few but, they will never be forgotten. They will forever be loved! Funny how it is that I can't remember sometimes a certain event that happens but, I can remember a pets name and what they looked like etc.
Pets are angels on earth, that's what I believe. That's what I've always have thought, they are hear to be beside us when things get tough and we don't have a human to count on, I could count on my fur babies!
My baby Oreo has been a blessing in my life. I got Oreo a couple years ago after my other baby Bunnie whom I had for quite a few years got out of the house and was lost....she was my spoiled rotten baby girl!! So much love for her! I got Oreo from a shelter and rescued him and he's rescued me as well in a few different ways and I swear that sometimes I feel that he knows when to come to me and give me kisses and cuddle with me when I need a cuddle buddy the most. And I feel that Bunnie is a part of him as well, like she's looking over the both of us..I miss her dearly!!
I use to have a Cocker Spaniel named Heather when I was a little girl growing up. She was so sweet and pretty and such a great pet! My oldest son is looking to get a husky for his upcoming birthday that will be from me since I've told him for the last couple of years when we get stable in our own place if that's what he wants then we will get him one. So this coming March is his birthday so we will be looking to go to the shelter/humane society and get him a wonderful pet from there.
