Hello to all you awesome people out there in the world :) Thank you for dropping by :) I have come across a really great site called Salted there are some really awesome chefs on there that show you how to make the simplest of recipes along with the not so simple :) You can take courses and watch videos and learn how to make a really great meal and try new things.
For me, I love learning!! Here in the past year or so my youngest son who is soon to be 17 next month has this thing with cooking!! He absolutely loves to go in the kitchen and just whip up something off the top of his head! I love it! As a matter of fact, he just cooked me my dinner earlier tonight!! He's really great at it and I'm hoping that going on Salted and learning some new recipes, I'm hoping that it helps him want to explore and adventure into making new things as well!
And it so awesome because under each video you have Steps, What you'll Need and Chef Notes And on the Steps part, it has the time in the video where you can go there and listen to it and do that step. I love it so far!! I"m going to try to make the brisket! I haven't ever tried to do the brisket, although I love it I just haven't taken the time to try to make it myself. Now I want to give it a try along with a few other recipes on there that I have seen!! So what are you waiting for? Go there and give it a try!! Salted
I'm going through the courses and trying to figure out which ones I want to try and do first! So many choices!! Thinking desserts!! I love making/baking sweets! Haven't done it in awhile but, now that were here in our own place no more excuses!
Here's a little more about what it is:
What is Salted?
Salted is a new type of cooking school.
We're working with 100 of the best chefs in the country to bring our members a world class cooking education, grounded in beautiful video, exclusive classes, and both culinary skills and recipes from the most celebrated restaurants in the country. We've got big plans, and we hope you'll join us on the exciting journey ahead.
Why the name "Salted"?
We chose the name "Salted" for two reasons:
1. "Salt" is the foundation of cooking, much like our tutorials can be the foundation of your cooking education, regardless of whether you are a novice in the kitchen, or advanced.
2. The suffix "ed" speaks to the value we place on education (as well as entertainment).
