#BehindTheBlogger Who Do You Think You Are?
First of all, let me say that I am happy to be a part of this #BehindTheBlogger I think that its a Fantastic idea!!
I am a very strong woman who is not only a single mom for right now but, I'm also a very Independent woman! I have grown so much over the past 2 1/2 years being on my own. Yes the first 2 years and a couple of months was staying with a friend but, it was still on my own very much so since I did everything in the house for all of us! Not complaining just saying...For the last month we have been in our own apartment and getting settled in. Yes, at times it's been stressful but, we're making the best of it and know that storms and rain don't last for long and it will be better as time/days go on. Like tomorrow we are getting our DSL so no more using my cell as a modem and working on my laptop through that .. thank goodness! And on Tuesday we're getting the Direct TV installed so that is awesome!! I'll be able to sit down and watch whatever I want whenever I want!!! Which I don't watch much tv as it was/is but, I'll have it there if I want too which is great!! Before, only watched what others was watching..I liked most of the shows but, I really missed some that I wanted to watch and didn't.
I've realized that I am much stronger and much more open minded and let others know what I think more now than I did 2 1/2 years ago that's for sure!! I have grown in more than one way. I've not only grown "up" but, I've grown as a person, woman, mother and as a wife in ways that I never thought I would of if the things didn't come along that did ... I am a separated woman/single mom at the moment but, we are working on reuniting as soon as we can.
Funny how you can live with someone over 20 years and not know them!! Yes, its possible to be married to someone, have children with them, live your life with them everyday in and out and not know them!! Not know them as a friend or just as a person!! Things got in the way (kids and everyday routines of life) and we just missed out on getting to know each other. Yes I was thinking wow how the heck do you do that?? Live with someone and have kids with them but yet not really "know" them...its easy to do if you get into the routines of daily life and kids and work etc and not just spending time getting to know that person.
So we are and have been getting to know each other for the past year and things are growing and he's a good man, just made a few stupid mistakes in his life in the last couple of years but, hell who hasn't right? Past is the past for a reason, all we need to worry about and concentrate on is the present and the future.
So that is who I am ... a smart, growing, independent, single mom who loves to work and spend time with my boys and make goals for myself that I have and will continue to meet!!
I am going for my LO license by my birthday in mid March! I will be a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer by then!
