Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!
Hello everyone,
I hope that you all have had a great day so far and continue to have a great
and awesome rest of the weekend! And if you are off on Monday for the holiday,
stay safe and enjoy it!
Be looking
forward to a lot more giveaways here! I am going to be getting involved in a
lot more giveaways and hops so be on the lookout for those as well as
continuing the awesome book releases, cover releases and more!
Please be sure
to stop in and check out all the upcoming and going on now giveaway hops! There
are a lot of bloggers that get involved and sponsor prizes for the hops
including me! I usually do either a $25 PayPal cash or $25 Amazon Gift Card for
my giveaway hops, I’m considering doing more than just those two options so any
ideas or suggestions of what you would like to win, let me know by leaving a
comment below or emailing me. I’m open for any/all suggestions of prizes that
you all would love to win!!
I’m working throughout
the weekend, but I have most of Monday off, so I plan to enjoy it catching up
on The Amazing Race and spending time with one of my besties 😊
I bought myself
an Xbox One S the other day, my own late Mother’s Day present! I’ve never
bought myself a system, never really had the time nor took the time to sit down
in front of a system and just play a game until last year when my youngest son
who was 19 showed me a game called State of Decay 2 and that was it! I was
addicted! LOL! So now that I have 2 awesome clients/jobs and love my schedule
with both I can take the time to relax on my own system and not always sit
in front of the computer to relax on a game which I’ve done until just
recently. Still adding games to my Steam which has now reached over 250 games!
And I have plenty more that are coming out this year and plenty more that I
want to get! Just a little over 100 on my wishlist on there! LOL! Pitiful but it’s
something I enjoy.
Life is to short
to not try new things and just take a day or at least a little time and just
relax and take a breather…I am still
finding it hard to believe that it's been over a year since I’ve lost one of my
very best friends that I knew for 30 years and its been over 7 months since I
lost my middle son Chris and then my grandmother in Jan of this year. Sometimes
we just need to take some time for us and just not worry about anything, just
not care if the dishes are sitting in the sink or if the laundry isn’t done, etc. There’s always something that needs to be done or should have been done
but sometimes at least for me, I enjoy just getting on my Xbox One S and beating
some zombie butt on State of Decay 2! It not only just gets me out of this
reality which my life is good, I’m happy with it, but this country and the
toddler in chief causes stress beyond imagination! That is another whole blog!
So to get away from that reality and to not think about what else he’s screwing
up or who else he is saying he wants to kill etc I just throw myself into the
game and enjoy myself for a little while.
I’ll be the
first to say that I’m not perfect, nor is my life but, I’ll also be the first
to say that I love what I do (working at home in my home office and doing
customer service which I love and wouldn’t change it for a million dollars!
Nope, I’m not rich but, I’m comfortable and that is all that matters to me. As
long as you are happy with your life and the way that you are living it, it
doesn’t matter what others think, they can hush and deal with it! Took me about
40 years to figure that out and do something and listen to it!! That’s also for
another blog!
So, this weekend
take the time and just relax and don’t worry about what needs to be done or the
things on the list of to-do relax and just live life without worries for a couple of days! Smile and take the little things in! The little things are the
most precious!
I love to cook out today and be with family and friends and think of our lost loved ones
