Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary to us!

I wanted to write just a little for today and say that I am a lucky woman to not only be married to the man that I love now more than when I married him 22 years ago today but, that we are very blessed to of grown from just a married couple who had kids to friends, to best friends, and then into a stronger and better married couple that loves and respects each other more than we have ever before. And yes while it took us years to get to this point, we did indeed get here!

And I'm looking forward to another 22 years with you by my side!

I sent him a nice letter with a card as well for our anniversary since we won't get to spend it together...it still means the world to me to be married to someone that I have grown so much with. We haven't always been this close, it took time and things to happen to get us where we are but, I am very happy that we are where we are today.

I love the letters that he writes me weekly that never skips a beat. We both have our "off" days but, we always seem to make up for it somehow and listening to his voice a few times a week is one of the best ways to make me smile...Isn't it funny that sometimes the words just don't want to come out how you want them too, so when we write they come out sometimes more than how we wanted them too...which is a good thing. I have opened up to him about a lot of things that I hadn't before and him the same with me. Writing to him weekly is a great way to get the love that I have for him not only in my voice but, also in the words to show him how much he means to me every day.
