Later than ever Refunds this year!
So it looks like there are going to be some new things going on this year when filing taxes. So if you are planning to file as early as you can this year, you might want to re-think that idea. Depending on what you file for things could be delayed until mid Feb. So for those of you that file and claim the EIC or the Child Care one. They will be holding all refunds until mid Feb that are filing with those 2 above things and then they said to not expect refunds to start hitting accounts until the week or day of the 27th of Feb.

So if you usually file as early as you can thinking you'll get it back by the beginning of Feb...plan accordingly. I know that it will throw a lot of people off I'm sure. It even said that it will affect millions! So yea, joy to the new tax law for this year.
Being that I am usually one of the ones that are filing mid Jan as soon as I can to get it out of the way, I'll probably be waiting until the beginning of March to do mine this year.
