Motivational Monday for Women

Today I'm taking a different outlook and doing the Motivational Monday for women!

I love the above quote - I know that sometimes we think that we can't do it on our own. Sometimes we might think we have to have someone by our side to push us along or to support us etc. I get that, I do! I was that way for a LOT of years!! I never thought that I would be able to get out away from my husband especially with 4 kids and do it on my own! No way! But as time went by, things came to a different situation and we ended up on our own and guess what? I did it!!! I'm completely on my own with 2 of my kids now and yes sometimes its rough but, really who doesn't have a rough time every now and again. As long as you look forward and keep moving toward the light and not backing down or just standing still you can and will do it!!

I also love the above quote too!! Seeing as my blog is named Lisa-Queen of Random, which definitely fits me!! And yes I do proudly wear my crown!! Every woman is a queen in her own way. You just have to find your way and do things for you! Yes your kids are right there on your top priority list but, if you don't take care of yourself first and foremost, what good are you going to be to your kids or anyone else?! So put on your crown and wear it proudly!!

And then there is this quote above....most of my life I've had bricks thrown at me about something or another. The way I look, the way that I act the way that I choose to do things or the way that I chose/choose to take care of my kids or the way that I have been with my marriage...yes the list goes on and on and on....I am one of those women (took awhile but I have done it) have picked up all the  bricks that have been thrown at me and got us to where I am now in my life and I am very PROUD of the woman that I am today, the life that I am living and the way that I am doing. No, everything is not perfect, far from it as I'm sure no one out there is doing all great and wonderful without any obstacles coming in our way/path. Everyone has to deal with different things. I don't expect and never expected for things to be perfect and be great all the time, that would be boring at times. What the obstacles in my path have shown me and done for me, I wouldn't change because they are the reasons why I am the stronger woman today than I was 20 years ago when I got married or even 5 years ago when I just sat there and took things that my mom told me as the truth and didn't believe in myself! I wouldn't be where I am right now if it wasn't for the obstacles that have crossed my path. I am very happy and proud of myself and where I am today. Yes happy, no I don't have everything, no my life isn't all great and fabulous but I am happy. I choose to be happy, sometimes you just have to go with the flow and not stress over things that you have no control over and learn from the lessons that you have been through in life.

So be happy with what you have and be thankful because it could always be worse and just think....Storms don't last that long...just go with the flow and you will make it through because you are a strong person!!
